Subok na talaga ang mga crew ng Jollibee sa pagiging  tapat at dedikasyon sa kanilang tungkulin. Marami na ang patunay sa kanilang serbisyo, kahit hindi na sakop ang iilan. Tulad ng pasuyo ng isang ina sa gamot ng kanyang anak, ang delivery crew na naghatid ng orders sa kalagitnaan ng ulan at baha.  

At ngayon naman si Aaron Joshua Maoy Aputen, isang Jollibee crew na nakapulot ng wallet. Basahin niyo po ang kwento ng isang ina at kung paano niya nabawi ang nawawalang wallet.

I brought my three year old daughter to a pediatrician yesterday, Aug 15 2017. On our way to the hospital, she kept on asking me to bring her to Jollibee. Gusto daw niya ng fries. So I said we'll eat at Jollibee after the consultation.

Fast forward. Initial consultation done, Jollibee french fries craving satisfied. So we were heading home. And then I found out my wallet is missing, with ten thousand cold cash, IDs and all of my bank cards.

I am tired, sleepless for almost two weeks now, haven't reported to work for more than a week already, LOA from school, daughter is sick, and now this. Seriously, the idiot version of me knows when to strike best. 

I calmly said, "anak nawawala ang wallet ni mommy". 

Wala lang, gusto ko lang magsumbong at magsabi sa kanya, na parang may magagawa siya. I literally checked my bag ten times before nag sink in na nawawala ang wallet ko. Mind you, we're near home when I found out. It's almost an hour since we left Jollibee Lacson cor Dapitan, place where I last took my wallet out. Gusto ko manghina, maiyak (but opkors I didn't).

Alam mo yung feeling na nawalan ka, tapos hindi ka kinakabahan kasi feeling mo andiyan lang tapos makikita mo din. Ganun.

Dahil hindi pa ako makabalik agad at the jollibee branch, I searched for its branch contact numbers pero sa tatlong number na nahanap ko, isa lang ang working, busy line pa. And then instinct told me to check my FB messenger request, on the process of doing it I was really hoping na meron, then BOOM. There it is, a message request! It took me time to realize it's possible. I was amazed. Surprised. Happy. Cant put in words.

To this amazing guy, THANK YOU. You have no idea how thankful I am. Thank you for doing reasonable efforts to get my wallet returned. Thank you for having a good heart and for doing the right thing. Thank you for using both of your hands, one for helping yourself, and the other for helping others. I wish someone will do the same when you lost something. I wish someday you'd be someone you dream you'd be because you deserve it. And I wish you continue doing your little bit of good wherever you are. It is those little bits of good put together that overwhelms the cruel society we are at. 😊

This is a lesson not just for me but for everyone. When you are going thru a lot, the more that you have to be mindful of everything. Wag lutang. This wouldn't help but could just possibly add to the loads you carry. BE CALM. Breaking down is not a solution. Above all, always believe in the goodness of others. We may be living in a society where everyone is loosing faith in humanity, but trust that there are people out there who'll prove us wrong. Marami pa din ang mabubuti. ☺️❤️
