King And Queen Of Spain Visits Victims Of Barcelona Van Attack In Hospital Del Mar.

Survivors of the Barcelona van attack were comforted in hospital by Spain's King and Queen as the royal couple visited each of them.

King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia went to the city's Hospital del Mar where our kababayans are recovering after Thursday's massacre.

Barcelona van attack happened last Thursday when at least 13 people died and 130 were injured.

A van was driven into pedestrian on La Rambla in Barcelona, Spain. Nine hpurs after the attack, five men thought to be a members of the same terrorist drove in nearby Cambrils, killing one woman and injured six others. Before the Barcelona attack, an explosion happened  in a house in Catalan. Police say that the 40 year old imam, thought to be the mastermind of the terrorist cell, accidentally caused the explosion.

One family visited by the couple included two children and their father who were recovering from injuries they sustained when the van ploughed through crowds on Las Ramblas.
