Fil-Am Youtuber Wil Dasovich diagnosed with cancer

Filipino-American Youtuber Wil Dasovich said that he has been diagnosed with cancer.

Before announced the bad news, Dasovich spoke about how his YouTube career began and his reason for staying in his mother’s home country, the Philippines.

“This was the ultimate reason I chose to stay in the Philippines: the never ending smiles, the continuous laughter, overwhelming hospitality, the resilience to stay positive no matter the situation,” he said.

He also thanked his subscribers for their support. “Having an audience that will listen to me, be open to my ideas, and hear me out is something I’m deeply grateful for and will never take for granted.”

Dasovich did not include details about his condition.

Earlier this month, he went back to his hometown in the San Francisco Bay Area to undergo tests and medical treatments. He said in a previous video that he had a parasite in his body and that treatments done by two doctors in the Philippines were ineffective.

In his latest vlog, he urged the audience to live life to the fullest. “If there’s one thing I want you to take away from this video, it’s to experience as much as possible,” he said.

He also said that he will continue to vlog as long as he is able to.
